PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synchronizing a wireless terminal in a wireless communication network, consisting of a synchronous sequence specified in advance with a reception signal flow repeated at a specified time interval in advance. SOLUTION: The method clarifies a correlation peak, in order to make a synchronous sequence in correlation with part of the signal flow and accumulating correlation profiles of a required number until the maximum correlation peak at least reaches a threshold level generates a correlation profile in the wireless terminal. During accumulation, the threshold level is updated depending on a background noise level estimated in the signal flow, so as to dynamically decide whether the wireless terminal detects the synchronous sequence.
