<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoride thin film low in phonon energy, small in a load on the environment and useful, e.g. for a high efficiency waveguide type light amplifying element or wave guide type laser element, a light integrated circuit in which a waveguide type light receiving element for light multiplexing, branching or the like is integrated into these elements and a display device utilizing up-conversion and electroluminescence. SOLUTION: This fluoride thin film has a composition containing gallium fluoride as an essential component and <=10 mol% lead fluoride.</p> |
