PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial plug which is easy to handle and hard to be detached in connecting with the non-protruding receptacle. SOLUTION: The coaxial plug comprises at one end a cylindrical insertion portion to be inserted between the insulating layer 102 and the lace cover 103 of a coaxial cable 100 and at the other end a cylindrical receiving portion capable of widening for insertion of a receptacle into its inner cylinder. The coaxial plug also comprises a shell 203 having a protrusion at the outer circumference, a holder 202 for holding the center conductor 101 of the coaxial plug, which is provided in the shell and connected with the core wire of the coaxial cable, at the central position of the inner cylinder of shell by keeping insulation, a fixing band 204 for fastening the outer cover and the lace cover of the coaxial cable to the shell, a coaxial cable cover 205 provided to cover the connection portion of the shell and the coaxial cable, a ring spring 206 mounted at the outer circumference for engaging with the protrusion, and a slide collar 207 for moving the ring spring in the direction of the axis of the shell.
