<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic art museum system which can always distribute the pictures possessed by famous art museums in the world so that a demander can always appreciate these pictures via the Internet. SOLUTION: A digital contents distribution terminal G consists of a server 1 and a database 2 and is placed at the business center of a contents dealer. The database 2 stores the image data on pictures possessed by famous art museums in the world in response to the names and painters of pictures and the data on the museums and in a file form of digitized contents. A server 3 is placed at an art museum M and connected to a (thin) frame-shaped display device 4 such as a plasma display and a color liquid crystal display device that can be hanged on the wall. The device 4 is placed at a prescribed position in a lobby or a restaurant, etc., and a terminal 5 is placed in a store of a hotel, a restaurant, etc. A terminal 6 is equal to a frame-shaped display device that contains a personal computer and placed at a general home.</p> |
