PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical material products having a high refractive index and a high Abbe number and excellent in heat weather resistances, transparency, etc. SOLUTION: The optical material products comprise a polymer obtained using an organometallic compound of formula (1) (where M is Si, Ge, Sn or Ti; (x) is an integer of 1-4; and (y) is 1 or 2) having at least episulfide groups as polymerizable functional groups as an essential monomer component. The organometallic compound is, e.g. tetrakis(2:3-epithiopropylthio)germane.
