PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damages of element wires due to rubbing and also reduce the generation of noises caused by friction between the element wires when rubbing a strand rope which is used for the power-transmitting control inner wires of automobiles or various industrial machines. SOLUTION: This strand rope produced by twisting plural element wires to form a core strand 1 and twisting around the core strand 1 plural side strands 2 each formed by twisting element wires, characterized in that spirally twisted element wires among the element wires constituting the core strand 1 and spirally twisted element wires among the element wires constituting the side strands 2 all are formed in the same length.
