METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COATED METALLIC SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a coated metallic sheet which is capable of lowering a baking temperature without deteriorating the storage stability of a coating material and without reducing a skim threshold limit. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the coated metallic sheet consists in forming primer coating film on a long-sized metallic sheet by applying a primer coating material thereon and curing the coating, then coating the surface of the primer coating film of the continuously transferred metallic sheet with a finish coating material containing [A] polyorthoester prepared by reacting an orthoester (a), a glycol compound (b) and a hydroxy group-containing compound (c) having at least two hydroxy groups in one molecule and [B] a compound having at least two groups having reactivity with the hydroxy groups in one molecule, then baking the coating.
