The thermal storage mechanism (5) has a thermal storage tank (34) storing water and a heat transfer coil (35) soaked in the water in the thermal storage tank (34), At the time of non-thermal storage operation, only the low-stage side compressors (2a, 2b) are driven, and a single-stage compression refrigerating cycle is formed. At the time of the thermal storage operation performed in the nighttime, both of the low-stage side compressors (2a, 2b) and the high-stage side compressor (3) are driven, and a two-stage compression refrigerating cycle is formed.
