PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast type information system, that allows each client to efficiently select only information required for each user, when a server distributes information to the clients so as to efficiently relieve the processing load of each client and the load on a storage capacity. SOLUTION: A distribution unit 100 generates a vicinity node list before distribution of contents of nodes, distributes the list to receivers 110, 120 with a distribution schedule, and control section 116 of the receivers 110, 120 receiving them conducts shift control to a reception mode on the basis of the distribution schedule, and a filtering processing section 112 selectively receives the contents of a node in the vicinity of a representative point, based on the vicinity node list.
