PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a slight abnormal sound generated from the periphery of a fixing device and to allow the device to be electrically grounded. SOLUTION: A thermally insulating sleeve for fixing roller which consists of a resin molding interposed between the fixing roller and bearings for supporting the fixing roller is a molding of resin composition prepared by compounding at least polytetrafluoroethylene resin powder, carbon fibers and calcium sulfate powder with a resin essentially consisting of polyphenylene sulfide.
