<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input operation unit having a simple and miniaturized configuration and capable of being efficiently operated by an operator while reducing the movement of operating fingers. SOLUTION: When the information input operation unit 10 is applied to a portable telephone 1, the operator depresses each button key of a button key part 6 and each push key of a job dial part 7 by moving the operating finger in a narrow operation within a range of outer diameter of the button key part 6, and moves a cursor in vertical/horizontal directions on a display 3 by integrally rotating the button key part 6 and the jog dial part 7 with the center of the jog dial part 7 as rotation center, thus a document generation processing the conversion of a document, the alternative processing, determination processing, clear processing terminating processing of an image and the like can efficiently be performed at high speed by a simple operation and the occupied areas of the button key part 6 and the jog dial part 7 can be reduced, thereby miniaturizing the portable telephone.</p> |
