PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemiluminescent total nitrogen analyzer which requires no periodical replacement of parts for treating NO2 and has no O3 discharge at all. SOLUTION: In this analyzer, an exhaust gas including NO2 and O3 discharged from a chemiluminescent gas analyzer 8 is discharged into sample water flow discharged from a water sample 1 to a water sampler outlet pipe 21, after O3 is decomposed and removed by an ozone treater 9. Since NO2 dissolves well in water, NO2 in the exhaust gas is quickly dissolved in the sample water flow and made harmless, and then can be discharged to the outside of a device. Simultaneously, trace ozone having the possibility not to be composed by the ozone treater 9 and to be discharged can also be dissolved and treated in the sample water flow, to thereby completely prevent discharging of ozone into the air.
