PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ice making capacity of an the making machine by transmitting heat of a cooling pipe to an ice making cell while suppressing any loss to the utmost to prevent cooling capability of the ice making machine in an open cell type automated ice making machine. SOLUTION: The present automated ice making machine includes an ice making substrate 61, to a lower surface of which substrate a plurality of ice making cells 62 are fixed. On an upper surface of the ice making substrate 61 a cooling pipe 65 is disposed such that it passes above each ice making cell 62, and is melted without any gap over the entire length of a portion which is overlapped with the ice making substrate 61. Hereby, upon cooling the cooling pipe 65 (in ice making operation) all of heat of a lower portion of the cooling pipe 65 are conducted to the ice making cell 62 fixed to the lower surface of the ice making substrate 61 through the ice making substrate 61.
