PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device wherein, with no step caused at a bottom frame, a hinged door is swung together with a sliding door into an open state, for smooth passage. SOLUTION: To an opening part 5 of a partition wall 4 between a bathroom 2 and a dressing room 3, a fitting frame 10 is fixed which comprises a pair of side frames 6 and 7, a top frame 8 provided across the upper end parts of the side frames 6 and 7, and a bottom frame 9 provided across the lower end parts of the side frames 6 and 7. A hinged door 12 connected to one side frame 6 for swinging around the axis of rotation almost perpendicular to the bathroom 2 side as well as sliding doors 13 and 14 movable in the frontage direction nearer to the dressing room 3 than to the hinged door 12 are held to the fitting frame 10. The bottom frame 9 is provided with sliding rails 15 and 16 which support, for movement, the sliding doors 13 and 14 in the frontage direction. The sliding doors 13 and 14 together with the hinged door 12 are raised and swung by a hinge means 29 while the sliding doors 13 and 14 almost overlap with the hinged door 12 in estimated direction, for opening/closing with no step generated at the bottom frame.
