PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a short-circuited part of a ceramic element is high in electric resistance in a ceramic electronic part, so that a fuse is not accurately actuated sometimes, a current keeps flowing through a malfunctioning varistor as long as a fuse is not actuated, and the varistor is heated to turn into a dangerous state. SOLUTION: An electrode 2 is printed on each surface of a sintered body 1 with certain margin and baked. After lead wires 3 are fixed to the electrodes, an insulator 5 of thermoplastic material is formed on the electrodes 2, spreading on both surfaces of the sintered body 1, and a conductive metal 6 of spring material is formed thereon. The position of the conductive metal 6 is so set as to short-circuit the electrodes 2 formed on both the surfaces of an element when the thermoplastic insulator 5 is melted and deformed.
|
