<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let pixel electrodes overlap with wiring to improve an opening rate, and also to reduce an influence of capacitance between each wiring and pixel electrodes exercised on display. SOLUTION: This is a liquid crystal display device, wherein it comprises gate wiring, source wiring 23, switching elements arranged in the neighborhood of the crossing part of the gate wiring and the source wiring 23, and wherein the switching has a gate electrode 32 connected with the gate wiring, a source electrode 36a connected with the source wiring 23, and a drain electrode 36b connected with a pixel electrode 21 for applying a voltage to a liquid crystal layer, and an interlayer insulating film 38 is arranged on the switching element, the gate wiring, and the source wiring 23; the pixel electrode 21 is arranged on the interlayer insulating film 38; a contact hole 26 is arranged for connecting between a connection electrode 25 connected with the drain electrode and the pixel electrode 21; and the source wiring 23 and the gate wiring overlap with the peripheral part of the pixel electrode 21.</p> |
