CORE OF ELECTRIC ROTATING MACHINE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a core of an electric rotating machine wherein the curvature of a core can be easily made uniform all over the circumferential direction, and a manufacturing method of the core. SOLUTION: This core 50 of an electric rotating machine is constituted by laminating belt type magnetic plates and has a cylindrical iron base 15a and plural teeth 15b protruding from the base 15a almost toward the radial direction. Slots for accommodating winding are molded between adjacent teeth 15b. Both end portions of an almost rectangular parallelopiped type laminate 15 are so bent that the core base has a prescribed curvature. The whole of the laminate 15 is so wound around a cylindrical core member 73 that tips of the teeth 15b protrude from the iron base, and molded in a cylinder type. Both end portions are bonded, thereby forming the iron core.
