PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticking type optical fiber sensor, which protects an optical fiber in which a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is written, is improved in handling so as to make a detecting element readily stick uniformly to a spot to be detected, and can detect uniform strain. SOLUTION: A film-like detecting element is obtained by fixing the portion of an optical fiber 2, on which the fiber Bragg grating (FBG) 3 is written to a film 4 which is to become the base of the element. In addition, the handling of the element is improved by protecting both ends of the film 4 with optical cords 1. Since the detecting element is stuck by using an adhesive or welding, an adhesive infiltrates between the element and the spot to be detected and the film-like detecting element is face-adhered to the spot. In addition, the detecting element works to uniformize the strain of the spot to be detected. |
