PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage evaluation method for a vehicle panel for making accurate damage evaluation of the vehicle panel, without depending on an evaluator and suitable for making repair estimation for the repair or the like of the vehicle panel. SOLUTION: In making the damage evaluation of the damage which occurred on the vehicle panel 10, a rectangular region 12 surrounding a damage occurrence section 11 is set, and the basic degree of difficulty Y is obtained, based on the area S of the rectangular region. The short side length L1 of the rectangular region 12 is measured, and a damage depth D of the damage section 11 is measured.
