摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electrophotographic photoreceptor having high performance, a long service life and high reliability, and to provide an organic electrophotographic photoreceptor which is superior particularly in image quality reproducibility and wear resistance and also in durability and photosensitivity. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor, obtained by successively forming at least a middle layer containing two inorganic compounds different from each other in average particle diameter, an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transfer layer on an electrically conductive substrate, where the average particle diameter of one of the inorganic compounds contained in the middle layer is defined by D1 and that of the other by D2, the relation D2/D1<=1/5 is satisfied, and a high molecular electric charge transfer material is contained, in at least one layer situated farthest from the surface of the substrate.
