PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever switch in various electronic equipment used for detecting existence of a recording medium, operation of a mechanism or the like, which enables obtaining of a stable sense of contacting, immediately after the contacting of mutual contacts at the time of lever operation. SOLUTION: A common contact 12 and a fixed contact 13 are provided on adjacent inner walls of a case 11, a shaft hole 14A in the middle of a lever 14 is retained rotatably in an opening part 11B, provided on a sidewall opposite to the common contact 12. A fixed part 15F on the tip of a first arm part 15B of a movable contact 15 is pushed and fixed between the common contact 12 and a supporting projection 11A. A contact part 15H on the tip of a second arm part 15G is pressed against a left inner wall, a driving part 14B of the lever 14 is butted against near a bent part 15A of the first arm part 15B, and the lever switch is formed. Thereby, stable contacting can be achieved immediately after contacting of mutual contacts at the time of operating of the lever 14.
