PURPOSE: A quiz prize money paying system and method is provided to offer a quiz program provided on a free-of-charge basis or charged basis utilizing a home page over the internet, in which prize money is given to an answer for right answers and in which a computer automatically gives quizes, judges right and wrong answers and calculates the amount of acquired prize money. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a quiz participant establishing connection to a home page of a quiz runner's screen provided in a service site of the internet and selecting a quiz site or a charged site as a site to be connected(S1), the quiz participant selecting a method for paying the participation charge(S2), the service site transmitting a quizzing screen to the terminal of the quiz participant to cause him or her to input answers(S3), the service site determining if the answer is right or wrong(S4), the service site calculating the amount of prize money for right answers to the quiz(S5), the quiz participant selecting a method for the payment of the prize money he or she has acquired for right answers to the quiz(S6), the participant reserving the prize money as one method for settling the prize money(S7), the participant remitting the prize money to a bank account as another method for settling the prize money(S8), the participant selecting a prize money or a gift(S9), and the service site taking a procedure to deliver the gift(S10).
