PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost in the case of building up an optical network system. SOLUTION: ADM line terminators possessed by users 1, 2,..., 91, 92 are connected to an optical fiber cable 101. The subscriber optical fiber cable 101 contained in a building 100 of an electrical communication enterprise, such as NTT, is looped back at the end of a star wiring to form a loop in the cable. Thus, many users are contained in the loop formed by a set (two cores) of core wires through the adoption of the existing ADM technology, the cost of installation can be saved, while providing the best-effort type service and the application of the optical technology to the system can be promoted. |
