PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception signal power measurement method, that takes the gain obtained by transmission diversity into account and to provide a mobile communication terminal. SOLUTION: A Rake synthesis section applies Rake synthesis to a channel estimate value and an individual pilot symbol, multiplies complex conjugate values of modulation patterns of respective pilot symbols of antennas 1, 2 to restore a modulation phase and to obtain a Rake synthesis output of signals from the respective antennas. Furthermore, a transmission diversity gain estimate section calculates the estimate value of a ratio of a reception signal amplitude from each antenna after Rake synthesis to a reception signal amplitude, after the transmission diversity synthesis and the Rake synthesis. Multiplying the ratio calculated by the transmission diversity gain estimate section with the Rake synthesis outputs from the respective antennas and summing the products can obtain the reception signal power after the final Rake synthesis. |
