PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article information providing server which can save the trouble to retrieve articles on the client side which is an article buyer side. SOLUTION: An article information providing server 10 which can provide article information for clients 30 and 40 is equipped with a database which stores a plurality of records each consisting of a plurality of pieces of information including different pieces of information having at least store names, article names, and article prices, a retrieval means which performs retrieval of the database according to store names indicated by the clients 30 and 40, and a transmitting means which sends at least the article name and article price of a record obtained by the retrieval to the clients 30 and 40. The clients 30 and 40 display the corresponding article names and article prices while relating them to the store names. |
