PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheets processing device and a transaction processor for fully automatically counting and managing the number of all paper sheets held in a device by exactly counting the paper sheets one by one before putting them in a collection box even when a troublesome conveyance state such as overlapped conveyance or skew conveyance and various reject paper sheets caused by the fold, break or chip of paper sheets themselves occur. SOLUTION: In addition to a regular conveyance state at the time of properly conveying paper sheets to be conveyed to the paper sheets processing device provided with a paper sheets storage part for allowing entering/discharging of paper sheets through a conveyer path, in the troublesome conveyance state such as skew conveyance or overlapped conveyance the number of conveyed paper sheets is counted by a counting means as well, it is decided by a deciding means whether this counting means rightly counts the number of paper sheets or not and when it is decided that the number of paper sheets is rightly counted, a storage means stores the count value, stores and manages the number of conveyed paper sheets. |
