摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state laser device which has a high utilization efficiency of a semiconductor laser beam and can uniformize the refractive index distribution in the side widthwise direction of a slab type crystal in a laser optical path region of this crystal. SOLUTION: Using a concave lens and pair of reflection mirrors, duct lens or a plurality of cylindrical lenses, a laser beam emitted from an LD device is converged and radiated on or in the vicinity of a laser optical path region of a slab type YAG crystal 21, so that the converged radiation intensity distribution in the side widthwise direction (axis y) of the YAG crystal is a double-peak distribution having peaks P1, P2 at both ends A1, A2 of the laser optical path region of the YAG crystal or in their vicinity.
