PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat preventive device exchangable in a blast-stopping for a short time in an operated blast furnace, with respect to the heat preventive device of a large bell in the blast furnace with which the creep deformation in the hot-state of the large bell and this hanging metallic material is restrained and the heat-insulating function is not lost even in the case an outer peripheral surface refractory falls out caused by spalling with the heat shock. SOLUTION: The heat preventive structural body 27 using a metal-made cupped vessel 30 as a basic material is closely attached to the lower surface 8a of the large bell 8 at the peripheral edge part 30a of the cupped vessel so as to direct the opening part side of the vassel upward by arranging a hang-down fixing mechanism 28 at the upper part of the top part of the large bell 8 through an opening hole 29 arranged at the top part of the large bell 8. On the inner and the outer surfaces of the vessel, the heat-insulating refractory is worked. The outer peripheral surface refractory is worked before fixing by hanging down, and the inner part refractory is press-worked from the opening hole. In a fixed supporting device 38, the thermal-expansion and the thermal-deformation are prevented by including a buffering body. This metal-made vessel 30 is hung up with a winch fitted to the furnace top part with a wire through the opening hole on the iron shell at the furnace top part in the blast furnace and fixed with the hang-down fixing mechanism 28. The heat preventive structural body 27 can be manufactured by assembling and fastening the vessels divided into two or more, in the furnace.
