PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an optimum transfer condition in an image forming device where a toner image is formed on an image carrier provided with electrification, exposure and developing means in its periphery, primarily transferred to an intermediate transfer body and then is secondarily transferred from the intermediate transfer body to a recording medium. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a sensor A detecting humidity and/or temperature in the vicinity of the intermediate transfer body, and a sensor B detecting the humidity and/or the temperature of atmosphere in which the device is put or the atmosphere of a paper supply part. Then, a primary transfer current value or voltage value is corrected according to output from the sensor A, and a secondary transfer current value or voltage value is corrected according to the information of output from the sensors B and A. |
