PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of always stably performing image-forming by maintaining the surrounding environment of an electrification part, a developing means and an image carrier, which tends to affect the image-forming, to a fixed condition by using a heating element independently working even while the main power source of the image forming device is turned off. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, potential applied to photoreceptor drums 1Y to 1K and potential applied to developing devices 4Y to 4K are controlled on the basis of water content calculated from temperature and humidity in a device main body, and the device is equipped with atmosphere heaters H1 and H2 acting independently of the device main body even when the main power source of the device main body is turned off and generating heat in order to maintain the temperature and the humidity in the device main body at specified temperature and humidity. |
