PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an antimicrobial tea extract-dyed textile having a peculiar color tone with a natural feeling, capable of giving various kinds of color tones, having good dyeability, and having high color fastness. SOLUTION: This method of producing an antibacterial tea extract-dyed textile comprises contacting a textile product made of cotton, flax, silk, etc., with a pretreatment liquid containing tannic acid to carry out pretreatment, and then contacting the pretreated product with a dyeing solution containing a tea extract to catty out dyeing. The product is preferably contacted with a mordant solution containing a mordant to carry out mordant treatment prior to the dyeing reaction. Both the mordant reaction and the dyeing reaction are preferably carried out at the same time.
