PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, accurately correct instrument error of a flowmeter having a continuous curve, in which the error is large in a small flow rate area and is gradually reduced to a small value in a large flow rate area, at a low cost. SOLUTION: A flow rate pulse signal from a rotation detector is shaped by a waveform shaper 2. A counter 33 counts flow rate pulses output to a gate pulse generated from a timer 32 and sends an integrated count value A to a comparator 34, when a captured pulse S is input. The comparator 34 discriminates whether the value A is a numerical value of a prescribed set range (X>=A>=Y). If a value A is within the range, a dummy pulse generator 35 outputs B pieces of preset dummy pulses via an OR circuit 36. A scaler 4 converts a pulse signal, obtained by adding the dummy pulse B from the generator 35 to the flow rate pulse input from the shaper 2, into a volume signal showing a corrected flow rate via the OR circuit 36.
