PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the corrosion resistance of a spherical rotating part of a shaft for driving a valve element and to permit the mass production of the shaft even of complicated shape in a mixing valve device composed of a valve seat and a valve element having a plane brought into close contact with the valve seat, moved forward and backward and rotated to change the opening area of a fluid passing port. SOLUTION: This mixing valve device is composed of the valve seat and the valve element having a plane brought into close contact with the valve seat, moved forward and backward and rotated to change the opening area of the fluid passing port. The mixing valve device is provided with a driving shaft provided with an operating part rotatably journalled to the shaft for driving the valve element, at a rotating part formed of resin, and a swing arm part for transmitting the input of the operating part to the valve element. In this case, the rotating part of the operating part is journalled in a watertight state to heighten corrosion resistance, and the operating part and the swing arm part are integrally formed of the resin for forming the rotating part. This permits the mass production of the shaft even in the case of complicated shape.
