PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyether ester elastomer fiber improved a yarn breakage in a covering processing of the elastomer fiber at a low temperature. SOLUTION: A decline in elongational resilience at a low temperature is prevented and yarn breakage in a covering processing is also prevented by performing copolymerization in such a way that a methyl group content in a copolymerized polyalkylene ether-glycol having methyl side chain is made suitable and by setting a content of a cyclic oligomer included in the elastic fiber in the number of repeating units of <=9 to be 0-0.5 wt.%.
