PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method as possible by which a reflection measuring graduation which is strong against fouling can be produced, by making the reflection measuring graduation as dull as possible to fouling. SOLUTION: The reflection measuring graduation comprises a first partial area 12 and a second partial area 13, with different reflection characteristics separately extending, at least in one first direction (x) on a reflective support base body 11. The intense reflecting first partial area 12 is constituted of partial regions 15 and 16 with different refractive indexes n1 and n2 which work as an interference filter existing on the support base body 11 and the weakly reflecting second partial area 13 is constituted of at least one absorption layer 14 which exists on the support base body 11.
