PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for preventing an elution of oligomers from a polyester fiber, which is added into a dyebath when dyeing polyester cloths and a polyester blended cloths with other fibers to solve the oligomer trouble without bad effect on dyeability of the fiber. SOLUTION: This agent for preventing an elution of the oligomer of the polyester fiber is characterized in that the agent contains at least one kind of esters of an alkylene oxide adduct of a polyhydric alcohol, with an alkyl or alkenyl fatty acid, or a compound obtained by an ester-interchange reaction of the alkylene oxide adduct of the polyhydric alcohol with a natural animal or vegetable oil and fat containing the fatty acid.
