PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify various facilities of an antenna of a television receiver and to reduce the cost by receiving broadcast waves transmitted from television stations at the television receiver through a power line network so as to eliminate the need for an outdoor antenna spread in market at present. SOLUTION: The television receiver 12 receives a broadcast wave sent from a broadcast wave transmitter 10 of a television station A via the power line network 11. That is, a connector of the television receiver is plugged into a receptacle of the power line network 11. The television receiver 12 is connected to a broadcast wave reception antenna connected to the receptacle of the power line network 11 at the same time of this connection. The broadcast wave reception antenna receives the broadcast wave transmitted from the broadcast wave transmitter 10 of the television station A and a user views a television program of a selected channel on the television receiver 12.
