PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purchase an article through the Internet by referring to a catalog. SOLUTION: A user terminal 10 reads characteristic discrimination information on an article entered into the catalog. A user terminal 20 accesses an article order sale homepage that a sales center 30 is opening on a network 100 according to the characteristic discrimination information and sends purchase order information on a target article to the sales center terminal 30. Once an order confirmation picture is received, its confirmation information is sent. The sales center terminal 30 sends the order confirmation picture for confirming the orderer and the order contents to the user terminal 20 through the network 100 once the purchase order information is received, and the article order is accepted when the confirmation information on the order confirmation picture is received from the user terminal 20.
