PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water leakage detector capable of being made small-sized and light-weight. SOLUTION: Different kind metal electrodes 1a and 1b are connected to a DC amplification circuit 2. The DC amplification circuit 2 amplifies the potential difference induced by a water leakage between the different kind metal electrodes 1a and 1b to a level required for the determination by a comparing circuit 3. The amplified water leakage signal is inputted to the comparing circuit 3, and a signal for operating an indicator 4, such as a lamp is outputted to the indicator 4, if the level indicates the water leakage.
