PURPOSE: An emergency lamp available for free voltage charging is provided to light on an emergency lamp automatically in occurrence of a power failure and to charge the emergency lamp with AC voltage at home as well as with 12V or 24V of DC voltage from vehicles, buses or trucks. CONSTITUTION: An emergency lamp available for free voltage charging includes: a DC charging terminal(TE) receiving DC voltage from vehicles, buses or trucks; a bridge diode(1) changing AC voltage into DC voltage; a charging unit(2) contacted to a common contact between the DC charging terminal and the bridge diode; a static IC(Integrated Circuit,3) contacted to the output terminal of the charging unit to output regular static voltage all the time; a relay coil(RY2) contacted to the output terminal of the static IC to be excited when power is supplied; a regular voltage isolator(4) contacted to the relay coil to control voltage to flow without exceeding a specific voltage level; a control unit(5) outputting a specific level of signal when a charging power is not detected; a first switching unit(6) switched on/off by an output signal from the control unit; a second switching unit(7) switched on/off depending on switch on/off of the first switching unit; a relay contact(RY1) contacted to a terminal(g) in normal power input and to another terminal(h) in power off; an LED(Light Emitting Diode,LED) lighted on in voltage charging to display the charged state; a voltage distributor(8) distributing voltage according to control of the control unit; and a battery(B2) contacted to the central contact of the relay contact to input voltage to a light bulb(L) when power is isolated. The emergency lamp is available for charging free voltage without regard to DC or AC. The light bulb is lighted on automatically when power is isolated. Thereby, the lamp is useful for emergency.
