PURPOSE: An ethosuximide concentration measuring method of a serum is provided to simply determine a concentration of ethosuximide in a serum at a low cost by measuring absorbance by using light of a predetermined wavelength in inverse proportion to the concentration of the ethosuximide linearly. CONSTITUTION: In an ethosuximide concentration measuring method of a serum, the concentration is determined according to an absorbance obtained by measuring an amount of light by using light of wavelength in the range from 1665nm to 1710nm, wherein the absorbance is inversely proportional to the concentration of the ethosuximide linearly.
