PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn heating method highly efficiently achieving a speed-up of traveling of the finished yarn without lengthening a heater of a drawing-false twist texturing machine. SOLUTION: In this yarn heating method in a drawing-false twist texturing machine which is equipped with the first heater H1 for forming a yarn heating space in the length direction at the upstream side of a twister NT and heats the yarn Y to be treated by the first heater, the yarn heating method in the drawing-false twist texturing machine is characterized as the yarn to be treated is preheated by the first heater and then reciprocated for heat-treatmeat of the yarn in the first heater.
