PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance switching operability. SOLUTION: The switch of retarder for vehicle comprises lines 11, 12, 13 connected with the anode side of a feeder line, a single pole double throw toggle switch 14 including switch A connected with the line 11 and switch B connected with the line 12, a single pole double throw toggle switch 15 including switch C connected with the line 11 passed through the switch A of the single pole double throw toggle switch 14 and switch D connected with the line 13, and a diode logic circuit 16 including diodes 17, 18, 19 connected, respectively, with the lines 11, 12, 13 wherein the cathode side of the diode 17 is connected with the H operation input of a control unit 5 and the cathode sides of the diodes 18, 19 are connected together with the L operation input of the control unit 5.
