<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting clamp which is light, and excellent in labor saving, safety, disburdening workers and standardization, at a connecting spot of a covered electric wire. SOLUTION: This connecting clamp 1 is provided for cutting off the covering of a covered electric wire (a) in a hot-line state in an overhead distribution line strung on utility poles, inserting the wire (a) into the electric wire (b) and connecting it. The connecting clamp 1 has a cutting-off and touching mechanism fitted with a plurality of electrodes excellent in conductivity and provided with cutting-off blades for cutting off the covering of the covered wire (a), inserting portions which are inserted loosely along the periphery of the electric wire (b), and inserting grooves which come in contact with the wire surface without damaging it; a pair of upper and lower grasping mechanisms which grasps the wire (a) at the shaft center by an upper wire pressing groove 4 which temporarily positions the electrodes and covered wire always to the shaft center, and a lower wire pressing groove 8 which functions with the insertion movement of the electrodes to the periphery of the wire; and a constant torque mechanism which moves the electrodes by rotation operation and cuts off the covering, and performs confirmation of unusual insertion load into the wire and connection.</p> |
