PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the rotating speed and load of a mechanical element cannot allow a good lubricating condition to be maintained, depending on the conditions of service. SOLUTION: This lubricating device comprises a filter/regulator 1 with a solenoid valve for filtering supply and pressure control of an air, a pressure gage 2 for operating pressure, an air change valve 3 consisting of a two-port solenoid valve for turning a compressed air on or off, a pressure switch 5 for operating pressure arranged on one passage 4 for the air change valve 3, micron fog generators 6, 6,... for generating oil fogs having different viscosities, communication pipes (oil fog carrying lines) 7, 7,... for connecting the fog generators 6, 6,... at their discharge sides, means for detecting a signal for a lubricating condition from a lubricated object, and oil control means 8, 8,... for controlling the oil fog amount of the fog generators 6, 6,... with the processing of the signal. It is preferable that the signal detecting means detects information from (1) temperature rise, (2) the thickness of an oil film or (3) the power of a motor depending on the lubricated object.
