PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a coupling sufficiently securing a shaft fastening force while holding the rigidity by setting shallow a notch quantity of a slit in the joint body. SOLUTION: This coupling is so constituted that a first slit 4 is notchedly formed in a cylindrical joint body 2 having a shaft hole 3 for inserting a shaft penetratingly formed therein so as to divide a shaft hole 3 into two from the end face side of the body 2 along the axial direction of the shaft hole 3; a second slit 5 reaching the shaft hole 3 and the first slit 4 is notchedly formed from the outer circumferential side of the body 2 in the direction crossing with the axis of the shaft hole 3; and the interval of the first slit 4 is narrowed by an external fastening force so as to contract the diameter of the shaft hole 3. The notch formation area of the second slit 5 in the joint body 2 is unequally divided in the both sides with the first slit 4 set to the boundary in a plane crossing with the axis of the shaft hole 3. |
