PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image forming device which perform error diffusion in consideration of scan deviation for image formation. SOLUTION: The device is comprised of a correction coefficient selection means 150 which outputs a correction coefficient selection signal in accordance with a subscanning delay signal obtained from a vertical synchronizing signal inputted to a control unit 104, a reference surface signal outputted from a reference surface detection means 140 which detects a reference surface on a polygon mirror 122 of an optical scanner 100, and a horizontal synchronizing signal indicating a scan start position outputted from a photodetecor 12 of the optical scanner 100, a correction coefficient storage means 152 which outputs correction coefficients 1 and 2 in accordance with the correction coefficient selection signal outputted from the correction coefficient selection means 150, and an error diffusion processing means 156 which performs error diffusion processing based on multi-valued picture information inputted from the control unit 104 and correction coefficient inputted from the correction coefficient storage means 152. |
