PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate waste in processing of image data within an image processing device and the transfer thereof to a printer controller (external image-processing device). SOLUTION: The images are read in a scanner section according to the image size instructed from the printer controller 2103, and the image data for the instructed size is sent to the printer controller 2103.
