PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of a gas cooking appliance to provide a kitchen with further excellent facility through effective utilization of a gap by noticing a gap provided when a different-size (small) gas cooking appliance is installed in an embedding state at the gas cooking appliance installation part of an (existing) kitchen cabinet with a former size. SOLUTION: A gas cooking appliance 3 having height lower than the height of a gas cooking appliance installation part 2 is embedded in the gas cooking appliance installation part 2 and a curtain plate 5 is situated between the front end of an under surface 2a of the gas cooking appliance installation part 2 and the front end of an under surface 3a of the gas cooking appliance 3. A gas pipe coupling tool 6 coupled at a rear part to a gas feed pipe and at a front part to a gas pipe leading out from other gas apparatus than the gas cooking appliance 3 is situated at the curtain plate 5.
