摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device capable of reducing a bearing support reaction to zero in ideal and quietly rotating a rotor. SOLUTION: This magnetic bearing device excites a set of first and second electromagnets 102 and 103 arranged close to the outer circumference of the rotor 101 based on the outputs of a set of position detecting means 104 and 105 for detecting the position of the rotor 101, and rotatably floats the rotor in a prescribed position by their electromagnetic forces. The bearing device is provided with a first and a second support means 116 and 117 movably supporting the first and the second electromagnets 102 and 103 respectively and a control means 106 controlling the lengths of the first and second support means 116 and 117 based on the outputs of the position detecting means 104 and 105 so that the first interval 113 between the first electromagnet 102 and the rotor 101 and the second interval 114 between the second electromagnet 103 and the rotor 101 become constant values respectively.
